Cheryl. Not related, just trying to help. In the 1900 census for Ky, Menifee county, Magisterial Dist 5, Dist 61, page 1B, there was a family headed by James O Nickell, 40, born Mar 1860, married 22 years, a farmer, and included his wife Virginia M, 37, Aug 1862, married 22 years, mother of 7 all still living, his son George C, 17, Mar 1883, at school, his son Lee M, 14, Aug 1885, at school, his daughter Safrona (as spelled), 12, Jan 1888, at school, his son James H, 9, Nov 1890, his son Joe D, 7, Feb 1893, and his niece Phebe Scarberry, 11, Jun 1888. All born in Ky as were their parents, except for Virginia whose parents were born in Va. As you know Benjamin and Sophronia were married in Lagrange county in 1908. In the 1910 census for Lagrange county, James and Virginia were living Springfield township, Dist 103, sheet 2A. Hope this helps. Don
