All these people want lookups right after I take my lookup link off the lake
county page for the summer!
Once late August comes I will be able to do lookups again, but till then it
is just too hard to concentrate on someone's request with 2 kids in tow.
If you'd like to know what the library has as far as indexes you can look at
my lookups page at http://members.aol.com/anolelady/mylookups.htm I have
most of the libraries local vital records indexes listed there, eventually I
hope to get a complete list online. Note: These are indexes...the actual
records have to come from the courthouse.
But there isn't much I can do until the kids are both back in school.
If you still need a birth/death/marriage lookup for the time periods listed
in the index come Sept 1st, let me know.
Oh and as far as the Lake County Courthouse giving information...just don't
get your hopes up. I dont want to be defamatory, but I've gone too many times
to find nothing when I know the records should be there.
