I've been sidetracked from my genealogy lately, but always read this letter.
Maybe someone can help me. My father was born in Indiana Harbor (1910) and
only recently did I find it was really East Chicago. Anyway, if he was born
in that area, what Catholic Church might he have been baptized in? I've done
all I can with the state and Lake County and there is no birth record. His
name was Charles Zinkus. Any suggestions?
