The Hammond Times Indiana Oct. 19, 1959 Obits

JOHN GAZDIK SR.

Age 85, of 2832 Cleveland St., Hammond, died Sunday at the home of his son after a long
illness. Mr. GAZDIK, who had lived in the Calumet region for 60 years, was employed by a
Chicago wholesale house before his retirement several years ago.

Services will be held in the Huber Funeral Home and in the Holy Trinity Hungarian Church,
with Rev. Joseph Sipos officiating. Burial in the St. John Cemetery.

Widow: Elizabeth (SZABO) GAZDIK

Daughters: Mrs. Elizsabeth JOHANNES of East Chicago

Mrs. Bea STANKOVIC of Hammond

Mrs. Mary ROBERTS of Colombus, Ohio

Mrs. Ann PALAIS of New Buffalo, Michigan

Sons: Joseph GAZDIK who is a member of the East Chicago Fire Department

Steve of Gary and John Jr. of Hammond.
