East Chicago Pioneer Dies
Albert KOLBUS
A pioneer resident of East Chicago, Mr. KOLBUS, 67, 4912 Northcote Avenue, died Friday
at his home after a brief illness. Services Tuesdy at the home and at the St. Stanislaus
Church, with Msgr. Julian Skrzypinsk officiating. Burial in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
Born Feb. 15, 1876 in Poland, KOLBUS lived in East Chicago for 50 years and was one of the
organizers of the St. Stanislaus Church. He has been employed by the street department
of East Chicago for the last 20 years.
The deceased was a member of St. Adalbert Lodge of the Polish Roman Catholic Union and
of St. Michael's Lodge.

Sons: John, Frank, Louis, Sgt. Michael and Pvt. Edward both in the Army
