The Vidette-Messenger Indiana Feb. 28, 1948
Mrs. Alice G. WAREHAM, 80, widow of the late William H. WAREHAM, died today at her home,
3 Wayne Street, following an illness of three years.
The decedent was born in Valparaiso Sept. 29, 1867, a daughter of Wharton M. CROWE and
Elenora (KEENE) CROWE.
She was united in marriage July 23, 1887, to William H. WAREHAM, who preceeded her in
death. She had lived in Valparaiso all her life.
Surviving are the following children:
Mrs. R. L. STAGGS, Stella, Mo.
Mrs. Grace LIMB, East Gary, Ind.
Mrs. H. R. LINDQUIST, Gary
Miss Julia E. WAREHAM
William H. WAREHAM, both of Valparaiso
Sisters:
Mrs. Anna DENTON, Hastings, Neb.
Mrs. Elsie E. HALL, Valparaiso
She was a member of the First Christian church, Sons of Union Veterans Auxiliary, College
City Camp. No. 3122, Royal Neighbors, Charity Rebekah Lodgen and the American Legion
Auxiliary.
Memorial services Monday at the Bartholomew funeral home, 102 Monroe Street, with Rev.
Percy Thomas of the First Christian church officiating. Burial in the Maplewood cemetery.
