Hi Hope,

You can find a few cemetery transcriptions online at the LaPorte Co Genweb site
found at <http://www.anaserve.com/~mcglothlin/mctartan.htm>;
This site will also link you to the Michigan City Public Library which has a
list of all the cemeteries in LaPorte.
Another link will take you to the LaPorte County Museum and Historical Society.
They have a reasonably priced basic research package which is good for someone
researching from a distance. It includes a lookup in the cemetery transcription.
