McDONALD RITES HELD

Final rites were held at 2:00 p.m. today at the Campbellsburg Methodist
Church for Mrs. Chloe Hammond McDonald, 79, who passed away at her home
in Campbellsburg at 11 a.m. Saturday after a two weeks' illness.

Rev. Osa Patrick, pastor of the church, conducted the rites and burial
was in the Livonia Cemetery.

She was born in Orange County to Louis and Sarah Ann Martin Hammond. In
1902 she was married to Charles McDonald, who preceded her in death in
1951. They had made their home on a farm near Livonia but had moved to
Campbellsburg 15 years ago.

She was a member of the Hardinsburg Methodist Church.

Surviving are the two daughters, Mrs. Dora Buchanan of Indianapolis and
Mrs. Fred Strange of Campbellsburg, R. R. Four sons also survive – Elvis
of Connersville, Ernest and James of New Albany, and Leotis of
Campbellsburg, R. R.

Dennis Funeral Home of Salem was in charge of arrangements.
