BEDFORD WEEKLY MAIL
BEDFORD, INDIANA
FRIDAY, JULY 11, 1902

IN MEMORIAM.

Sherman Taylor was born May 4, 1866 and died June 30, 1902 at the age of
36 years one month and 27 days. He was married to Rosa Tindell of
Orleans. Six children was born to this union two of which departed this
life when infants and two sons and two daughters remain with the
sorrowing widow to mourn the loss of father and husband who was so dear
to us; he was a faithful and loving father, we miss him, but it is God's
will to take him home to suffer no more. This dearest one was a member
of the Christian Church. He was a good citizen of this city and to know
him was to be his friend.

Sherman's untimely death to Mrs. Taylor is very sad, one that merits
sympathy of the entire community. Along the silent path by reinless
spirit, trod another dear traveler hath gone to be with God, gone up from
human love to a higher love and care. From pain below to peace above in
mansions, oh so fair. Often our hearts O Lord, they with sorrow swell.
To say this meek submissive word "thou doest all things well."

Bid us O Lord to go,
O bid us here to stay.
We'll walk with thee while here below,
Or up the silent way.
Farewell dear father, Farewell
Dear husband Farewell.

A FRIEND.
