OBITUARY.

Little Laura White, infant daughter of Bro. James White and wife, of
Oolitic, Ind., passed away to the beautiful beyond at 12:30 noon, July
17, 1902, aged 1 year, 2 mos. and 6 days. The little life that came to
bless home and parents, has been taken and now rests with him who said:
"Suffer the little children to come unto me."

"I take these little lambs, said he,
And lay them on my breast;
Protection shall they find in me,
In me forever blest.
Death may the hands of life enclose,
But cant' dissolve my love;
Millions of infant souls compose,
The family above."

"Oh, we pray to meet our Laura
For a long long sweet embrace.
Where her little feet are waiting,
And we'll meet her face to face.
Fold the dainty little dresses,
That our darling used to wear.
She will need them on earth never,
She has climbed the Golden Stair."

"Angels whisper that our darling,
Is in lands so bright and fair,
And her little feet are waiting,
Close beside the Golden Stair."

It was only a few days ago that Bro. White with his family moved to
Limestone, and the fact that they were here among strangers adds to their
loneliness. But dear Brother and Sister, you will soon know many friends
who will love and sympathize with you in your great loss. A brief
service was held at the home conducted by the writer, after which the
remains were buried at the Hopkins cemetery. God bless the broken
hearted.

J. W.
