To the List Managers for INFLOYD and INMADISO:

I just received the following message from Alyse Quinn in Florida. She has
acquired an old family bible that belonged to a Raymond LaDuke from either
New Albany or Anderson, Indiana.

Would you be willing to post this message to your Rootsweb e-mail groups for
Floyd County and Anderson County. Ms. Quinn is interested in getting this
into the hands of a descendant. I checked www.rootsweb.com and there is no
surname group for "LaDUKE", so I thought I would forward it to each of you.

I have no information beyond what you will find below, so if you have
questions, please contact Alyse Quinn at .

Thank you.

> Hi, I found an old bible in a thrift shop that belongs to a Raymond LaDuke
from either New Albany or Anderson Indiana. I think that it would be nice
if their family had this heirloom. There are a few clippings inside.
Raymond seems to be the son in law of a Catherine M and Edward M. Grantz, so
one of their daughters married Raymond LaDuke. He had about 5 brothers.
One of her brothers was Leo P. Grantz. They go to a St. Mary's in New
Albany.

> It looks like Catherine Grantz died in at age 60 and was a member of the
Altar society. Her son Leo died in 1961. He was the brother of the woman
that married Raymond LaDuke. He played some kind of baseball in 1939, so
maybe he would be about 80 years old now.
>
> Anyway, if in your life you come across any people that appear to be in
this family I will give the Bible to them.

> Thanks for your time to read this. Alyse Quinn - Florida
