I have the Union Chapel Cemetery book from the Marion County Genealogical
Society.
Aaron Watts b. Mar 20, 1809 d. Apr 20, 1885 B-3 6
Frances Watts b. Sep 1815 d Dec 1894 "Wife of Aaron", near Bunnels
B-3 6
Aaron W. Watts 1871-1933 B-3
Cyrus C. Watts 1854-1930 B-3 21 right
Nannie E. Watts 1857-1895 B-3 21 left
Elmer Watts 1882-1978 A 258
Inez Heather Watts 1887-1957 Eastern Star A 258
I have a Frank E. Watts, 1876-1935, also buried in Union Chapel but not near
your Watts, who married into my Gresh line. Any connection?
I have an Elmore H. Pursel, 1869-1955, also buried in Union Chapel, who
married into the Gresh line also, in fact Frank Watts and Elmore Pursel
married Gresh sisters. Elmore and wife Nellie had two sons, Harold and
Eugene Purcel.
There are a TON of Pursels in Union Chapel! Elizabeth Pursel, "Wife of J.O.
Pursel", b. Feb 16 1835, d Dec 28, 1917 is in B-5 3 top-N. If you want me
to check other Watts and Pursel's I'd be happy to. Do you think yours might
be connected to mine?
Happy hunting!
