Have you checked births and deaths on microfilm from the Family
History Center for the year she was born in Marion Co. and the death records
for the year she died? By looking at one census for families with the same
surname the year after my grandmother was born, I found a family with a
daughter with the same name and birth year as my grandmother. When I wrote
for her death certificate, it confirmed her parents were the same as I found
on the census. many counties kept records in ledgers before certificates were
available, and a lot of these records have been put on microfilm by LDS.
