Hi Nan,
Thanks so much for all the information in regard to Phone directories in
Indianapolis between 1851-1857. I really appreciate it.
My family must have arrived late 1851 and left in 1857. Thank you for your
offer to check your 1857 directory.
Dennis SULLIVAN and Julia Shanahan Sullivan. (daughter of David and Mary
Shanahan)
Jeremiah MAHONEY/MAHONY and Mary Shanahan Mahoney. (daughter of David and
Mary Shanahan)
David SHANAHAN/SHANNAHAN and Mary Mahoney Shanahan. They had a daughter
named Ellen and possibly a son named William or Patrick that may have been
living with them.
Daniel SHANAHAN/SHANNAHAN (son of David and Mary Mahoney Shanahan)
I will look forward to hearing back from you Nan.
If anyone else has a copy of the Indianapolis directories between 1855-1857,
please let me know. In fact, if you could look up my family that would be
terrific.
Thanks again,
Sue SHANAHAN Webb
