I have wondered this same question about Isaac Harris. I have the "Chandler and Allied Families" genealogy book by Ruth Chandler. She has Nicholas Harris m: Eliza Reeder 22 Jul 1824. But as to Nicholas' father it is written, "Lu McKay info: His father, grd father, and possibly grt grd father were all named Nicholas Harris. His family came to Indiana abt 1815 and bought land in the Portersville area. Nicholas and Eliza had the following children:
i.......Nicholas Harris, born 7 Jan 1824 (Note: this is before their marriage date!)
2 ii....John Harris born 25 Aug 1825 and died 11 Jul 1919."
This John Harris is my 3rd-great grandfather.
If we take this information as correct, where does Isaac Harris fit in or if he does at all?

This is an organizational group sheet only...it's all the marriages 1-8 in
Daviess Co. and 9-12 in Martin Co. for Harrises...who might be the right age
to be children of Isaac Harris.
This Isaac later married Margaret Allen.
