Thanks, Doris, for the information on Blackburn/Bruner.
Henry D. & Nancy Eliz. Bruner show up in Brown Co. census of 1860. Nancy
married Wm. J. Poling there in 1867 and I believe they lived their
entire lives near Needmore. She died in Dec. 1906 but I have not been
able to find an obituary for either of them. I believe Wm. Poling died
there in Aug. 1892.
Anything you can give me on the family would be appreciated. There are
few resources in our libraries here for IN.
I suspect that David Clemons Jackson's mother was a Clemons, but not
knowing where the family lived has kept me from locating any information
on him. I also suspect that an Alexander Jackson in Monroe Co. is one of
his family but have not been able to tie him to David. The same with
Granville Jackson, Monroe Co.
Thanks again for your help.
