Is there anyone on this list whose French is excellent and could translate a
Monroe ancestor's ancestor's ....etc. 1811 birth record? I can make sense
of most of it, having had several semesters of French in high school and
college, but a few phrases and their actual meanings have me stumped. The
internet automatic translators really butcher this sort of thing and don't
help at all.
