AND WHY NOT BLOOMINGTON

It is said that there has been formed in various portions of the state a
club composed of women who have for its object the systematic spying upon
the husbands of the members. A woman detective is employed to watch the
men and she is to report at each weekly meeting. It is to be a public
report, we presume, read before all the women of the organization. The
detective is supported by a small weekly fee from each member. The real
object of the club, the mebmers say, is to make home life happy and when
the erring husband is confronted with the first report of his misdeeds, we
can imagine that it would have a most beautiful effect. Let's have one in
Greencastle--if there is not one already. Greencastle Banner Times.
