Two Mushroom Victims Die
Lafayette, Ind., Sept. 8.-Jacob May and William Ogden are dead and Michael May and George Baudy are in a critical condition as the result of mistaking toad stools for mushrooms, Isaac Brickler, who also attended a stag supper was suspicious as to the appearance of the mushrooms and he was the only one to escape. Jacob May was 37 and Ogden 38. Both men were engaged in the manufacture of brick. Michael May, a brother of Jacob is in an unconscious condition in a local hospital and the attending physician says he can not long survive. George Baudy is also in a critical condition and his chances for recovery are not favorable.
