Body: I am looking for information for the family of Peter Grant SWITZER
born about 1801 in Kentucky and Madgalene SMITH
SWITZER, daughter of George FOLAND and Mary SMITH FOLAND born about 1801
in Kentucky. Peter and Magdalene were married
26 November 1821 in Bath County, Kentucky. Father of the groom was
Abraham SWITZER the bondsman was Michael SMITH. By
the 1830 census Peter and Madgalene have moved to Montgomery County,
Indiana and have 5 children. In the 1840 census
they are still in Montgomery County and have 9 children. The children
‘may’ have been Alfred, Amanda, Elizabeth,
Catherine, Lucinda, Michael, Louiza, Margaret, John, and William. On
the 1880 census Peter G. SWITZER, age 79, is
living with Catherine STONEBRAKER and Elias STONEBRAKER in Coal Creek,
Montgomery County, Indiana.
