Hi: I'm searching for information about any BAIN or BANE families in Morgan
Co., IN, in the 1840's.

My ancestor was Elendor Catharine BAIN, b NC, 9 Feb 1830; d Cainsville,
Harrison Co., MO, 18 Aug 1907; md Morgan Co., IN, 14 Nov 1847, Isaac Riley
HADLEY, son of Simon and Alce (WALKER) Hadley who migrated from NC to IN, abt
1820.

My Hadley family is well-documented.

Elendor Bain's mother was Mary/Polly (-) Bain who lived with the Hadley family
in IN by 1850, and migrated with them to Harrison Co., MO, abt 1860. Elendor
may have had a brother John Bain who also moved to Harrison Co. There is some
indication that William Bain was the husband of Mary and the father of Elendor
and perhaps John.

Would appreciate corresponding with anyone search the Bain or Bane families in
Morgan Co., during this time period. Thanks, Judy Tooman
