According to the census, James Jones Morgan was born 1814 to 1815 in Tennessee. He first married Sarah Catherine Clary in 1839 and had a son, Calvin Morgan born 1844. There may have been more children. I have been unable to find him in the 1850 census with Sarah but there is a James Morgan married to Sally Hadley after the first marriage. I can not prove that this is NOT my James Morgan and it is in the same County-Morgan County, IN. That is all I can tell you now.
