My gg grandfather, John Rooker of Howard County, MO born 1795, was the son of William Rooker who came from England and landed in the "south". From what I have researched, I believe he landed in 1775. John married Isabelle Gillespie in Tennessee, and I have found a William Rooker who married Nancy Saffell, who seems to fit. Do you have any information on John? Thanks for your message.
