from the Danville Gazette (Danville, Indiana)--issue of Thursday, March 3, 1949--page 4, column 3:

Funeral services for Mrs. Eliza J. Maxwell of Plainfield were held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Monrovia Methodist church. Burial was at Monrovia. Mrs. Maxwell, who was 73 years old, died at her home in Plainfield Sunday morning. She is survived by her husband, Edward, a daughter, Anna McCloud, and a son, Paul Maxwell of Indianapolis.
