I believe I'm related to Mary Ann Burris through her first hurband, Henry Jackson Jordan. Does anyone have any info that will help me document this? My great-grandfather was Thomas Joshua Jordan. He married Emma Florence Scott in 1894 in Linn, Oregon but they divorced (after 2 kids) prior to 1900 in Gilliam Co., Ore. I found records in the census of a Thomas Joshua Jordan in Gilliam Co., Ore., in 1900 and the only Jordans I found that matched his parental census info are James Anthony Jordan and Elizabeth Todd. I'm looking for some sort of proof that I have the right Jordan branch, as Thomas Joshua Jordan wasn't even mentioned to me until I was an adult.
