I am looking for more information on the Daniel STRICKLER line. His third
child, Daniel, married and left a family in Parke County. Jacob, the eldest
son and wife Mary FULWIDER Strickler located in Parke about 1842. Their
oldest son, Moses married Margaret J. ARMSTRONG. Children of this marriage
were John Henry, Mary Elizabeth, Robert Harvey, William Joseph, Martha
Agnes (My great grandmother), Arthusa Isabell and Elmer Ulysses. The family
moved to Iola, Allen Co, KS. They homesteaded in the Township of Carlyle
near Deer Creek. Martha Agnes married Samuel E. GANTT and had one daughter,
Ethel Alice who married John CHILDRESS (CHILDERS). Lonna Childress Nevil
