Mert,

There have been a number of SWAIM books written. You may have luck finding
them searching in Google or another search engine. One is: "The Swaim-Tyson
Family of Staten Island, New York, New Jersey and Southern States" by Joseph
F. Mullane, Lloyd B. Swaim and Marjorie Decker Johnson, 1984.

The only Parke Co Swaim I have come across was Michael Swaim (b: abt. 1780;
d: 1825, Parke Co, IN) who died while trying to break a horse. His wife was
Elizabeth Barnes and they had left Wilke's Co, NC about 1821 for Parke Co.
Unfortunately, that's all the information I have on Michael & Elizabeth.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

Hi,

does anyone have connections to William SWAIM and his wife Jemima who were
from North Carolina and moved to Parke County by 1845.
