Crawfordsville Journal-Review -- April 1, 1957 -- Minnie CROWDER, 75, died at her home in Kingman about 3 p.m. Sunday. She had been ill for approximately 11months. Born June 28, 1882, she was the d/o Joseph and Rachel BLACKETER DELP. She married Andrew Jackson Crowder Dec 30, 1898, who preceded her in death Jan 11, 1956. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Minnie NEVINS of Rockville; Mrs. Dessie VINCENT of St. Joseph, Mich; Mrs. Lula STONEBRAKER of Bloomingdale and Mrs. Catherine ROOKSBERRY of Detroit; four sons, Ned of Marshall; Fred of Gary; Andrew of Los Angeles and Richard of Newport; a sister, Mrs. Lillian BURNS; 52 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Kingman Christian Church with the Woodrow Funeral home in charge. Rev. WIlilam Mayoh will officiate. Burial will be in the Harveysburg Cemetery. Friends may call at the family residence after 6 p.m. Monday.
