Crawfordsville Journal-Review Dec 5, 1955 -- William David SHULER, 72, died at 6:35 a.m. Sunday at his home Rt 4, Rockville. Born in Fountain Co on December 23, 1882, he was the son of George and Emma Gillan Shuler. Survivors include the widow; Thelia; a son, Vernon at home; one daughter, Mrs. Zelma DOOLIN of Rockville; a sister, Mrs. Bertha COATS of Kokomo; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Barnes Mortuary in Rockville with Rev. V.E. Squibbs officiating. Burial in Poplar Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 o'clock this afternoon.
