I am sending this on the outside chance you may be in the family of Shoafs I am looking for. I have little to go on but my grandmother was Allie Virginia Shoaf b10-13-1880 and died
11-20-1939 married John Edward Young.All I have is a death certificate from Pike, Indiana and at bottom says father John Shoaf and mother Rebecca Grubb but cannot get the line of Shoaf that I believe may have come from Pike county Indiana
1900 census says her mother and father born in Indiana any help would be appreciated and am willing to share the Young line that I have....dave Chesapeake Virginia
