My Vermillion Griffin alwys stated that he was born in Ireland in 1832. So I paid little attention to the English Griffins of Parke and Vermillion Counties.

I recently reveived some old obits and two have them say, "had relatives in England."

Possibly, My John came from Ireland, some family members went to England and then some of them came to US.

Any thoughts?
