Waveland Independent, October 17, 1902 – Mrs. Martha McCallister, a lady of advanced years died at the home of her son, west of town of valvular heart disease, early Thursday morning. Funeral services were held at the home yesterday afternoon, by Rev E. E. Moorman after which the body was interred in the Jarvis Cemetery. She was a sister of William Jarvis.
