Hi,
I am searching for the biological parents of my husbands grandmother whom passed in 1977 as well has her adoptive parents and her husband. I have received a list with baby girls that where born on the date of her birth per SSDI, 15 Feb 1912 in Indiana. This list contained this:
ch) Davis, Ruth D. fa) Amarcellus mo) Bernetta Northway b) Parke Co., Indiana
I am trying to find out if she was with this couple until her adulthood, for I can rule her out as a possible, or search to find that this child could actually have been adopted by someone else.
Any information you may have on the couple or child, could help. We know that Ruth (the grandmother) was not adopted until she was between the age of 4 and 6. We don't know if Ruth was her given name by her biological parents or adoptive.
