I am searching for information on a William Mitchell, born about 1836.

William Mitchell and Sara Jane Hearest were married in Cass County, Indiana on 3 Sep 1857.

William (24) is in the 1860 Washington Twp., Cass County, Indiana federal census with wife Sarah J. (born in Sussex Co., DE age 19) and son Milton W (born in Cass Co., Ind age 1). In this census he shows his place of birth as Park Co. Ind.

William (34) shows up in the 1870 Tipton Twp., Cass County, Indiana census with wife Sarah J. (29) , sons Milton W. (11), George A. (5), and daughter Sarah (2).

Later, in 1880, William (44) is in Washington Twp., Daviess Co., Indiana with wife Sarah (39), sons William (21), George (14) and daughter Sarah B.(12). In this census, WIlliam shows his parents being born in VA.

On 10 Jan 1886, Sarah (Sadie) Bell Mitchell marries Benjamin F. Clouser with father's (William's) consent.

Any help on this individual would be greatly appreciated. This is my 2nd great grandfather.
