Are you still researching the Todd family? I have some information on this Todd family, as in Lewis Cass may have been born in Jefferson County, Iowa. The last I have on his father William S. Todd and mother Mary Ann Todd is that they were in Peru, Miami County, Indiana in 1860.

I have been doing a little research on the David Todd family as they are related to the Smith family through the marriage of David Todd to Sarah D. {Sallie} Smith in Mercer County, Ky in June of 1813.

Also have you seen the bio of William S. Todd posted, I think, at the Miami County, or Peru, site?

I would really like to share information with you. I am also searching for more on the William {Smith?} Todd family, the H.S. {Hugh Smith?} Todd family, the James H. Todd family, the Sarah Todd family and the Mary J. Todd family, and others unknown by me.
