My grandmother, Clara Doris Vanfossen Voorhis, is JL Vanfossen's daughter who built bridges and churches for a living. There are two bridges still standing in Parke County Indiana. My three sisters and I visit them every year while going to the Covered Bridge Festival in Parke County. My father is Harry W. Voorhis, Jr. and lives in Monticello, Indiana but is from Boone County, Indiana. If you'd like more information about JL Vanfossen, I'm sure I can get it from my aunts and my father.
