Hi Bev.
My 2nd Great-grandfather Hugh White went from Roane County, TE. to Parke
County, IN. was in IN. and served from there in the War of 1812.
Abt. 1831 daughter Cynthia Ann and Son-in-law Hezekiah Lawrence James McKown
talked Hugh and his wife
Mary (Johnson) McKown into moving their family to Peoria County, IL. that is
where they are buried in the Princeville Cemetery,
I don't know if there were grown children left in Parke County, IN. or not
but have wondered?
Just wondered if there is a connection?
Regards,
Iris
