cannot help with this marriage, but suspect there is a connection between this barbara huffman and my barbara huffman who married joshua morris around 1845 or so...haven't found their marriage yet....do you know if the huffmans were quakers? my barbara was only 31 in the 1860 parke co indiana census, so not your barbara, but maybe a namesake??? my barbara dies about 1866 and is buried in parke county indiana...her oldest child william was born in indiana, next 2 were born in iowa...this family in iowa census in 1850....the hay/hayes and morris were next door neighbors in the 1860 census.
