In the 1880 census there is a J.W. McIntosh in Fountain Co, Fulton Twsp.
(Fountain Co. borders Parke Co.) He is one page 20, Sup. Dist. 4, Enum.
Dist. 43. He seems to fit the same person in the 1870 census with the same
birth year and place of birth. He has remarried and has his new wife and
son, Samuel, living with him along with a new born son. The other children
from his marriage to Celia aren't listed with him. Seems he uses his
initials instead of his full name in the census. Hope this helps.
