Hi Steve.
Yes. I still am on line. but haven't been turning up anything much
since the information concerning Henry Kelch and John Keltner. The
researcher who did the final work about the above has been trying to
find something about the family of Margaret Conar who I had surmised
was a daughter of a Conar who lived in Orangegurg County. She thinks
that this isn't valid, but has been unable to find anything else
yet.It might br Conner I'll let you know if she turns up something.
Also, when I was looking at the 1850 Parke County census that listed
Robert and Rhoda Gragg I decided to investigate Emily Lair, the last
child listed. It turned out that she was Emily Farr.the child of
Usley Gragg and Charles Farr. They were married circa 1835.Usley was
the first child of Robert and Rhoda, born in KY c1815. They had seven
children, of whom Emily was the 6th, born circa 1845 The last one was
born circa 1849. I suspect that Usley died in childbirth or shortly
after in 1849, and Charles moved the family from KY to Indiana, where
her parents Robert and Rhoda were living. This is yet another example
of the way these families hung in together.I found this info in the
Farr family genealogy, It doesn't pertain directly to your research,
but it solved another mystery of a Gragg family listing. Those early
people were prolific survivors!
Congratulations on your Web Site! You have done wonders in the short
amount of time since you began.Keep up the good work.
Miriam
