Hi Holly,
GREAT IDEA.

How bout I stick in my say so, and maybe everyone can add on.

I think One Big Conference would be great, but 3 seperate,(North,Central, &
South) would be handier for folks to get to.

I have plenty of slides that I could make a pretty good presentation. Plenty
of before and afters, and now afters are starting to look like the befores
again.

I am not a lawyer, but I can give a class on Indiana Cemetery Laws and what
has happened to our cemeteries because of the these laws.

Some kind of organized structure is going to have to come up with a workable
solution for the Cemetery Problem. Just waiting and hoping for Legislation
is not going to get anything done. I am NOT saying the INPCRP is not doing
anything, but there has to be a way where we can communicate better. 1522 is
supposed to help cemeteries, but the clerk (or auditor) lobby people added a
sentence saying they don't have to purchase equipment to inventory
cemeteries (forgive me on this, I don't know if this made it to final bill.)
Now what does that have to do with protecting cemeteries. Me talking like
this isn't helping and I am learning(forgive me again.) But a cemetery
representative should have been there when something like this came up.

I have attended 3 workshops in Kentucky. Everyone write the Indiana
Historical Society and ask them for a workshop.

Congrats Lois on your class completion. It's hard to phantom paralegal
classwork and all the work you do for INPCRP.

Are their anymore suggestions out there?????
Ron.......
