Alice,

The cemetery involved in your law suit sounds almost identical to the one we
have been. The old deeds all mentioned and "excepted" the cemetery, but did
not say exactly where it is located within the parcel of land. There is just
one house being built there, but it is exactly in the middle of where we are
told the cemetery is. The stones were removed long ago so that the land
could be farmed. It is off the beaten path, but there are neighbors who
remember where the stones once were.

The DNR told us that we should try to find a descendant who can testify as
to the location of the cemetery. In your experience, do you think that is
going to do any good?
