I have been watching with interest the discussion about the latest batch of
fodder to be thrown across the fence by our elected elite. It appears to be
the same dry diet we have been swallowing for years: A veritable cornucopia
of inconsequential gibberish, without substance or form, designed to appease
out appetite for action but offering no substance to sustain our needs.
Until bills are passed into law which are designed to be enforceable,
intended to be enforced, and provide REAL protection for cemeteries, debate
among ourselves on the merits of any of these bill is mere cud chewing.
If we want something more than plain fodder, we need to talk to the farmers.
Debate the merits of these bills with the representatives that wrote them.
Make them understand that we need a bill that will stand the test of time,
approaches the problem positively and fairly, and provides penalties for
non-compliance.
My 2 cents.
