Hello list,
I need your help. I am new at saving pioneer cemeteries. I went to the county commissioners court today to plead my case on Gard Cem. in Hancock County. They went for it. Yeah!
This is what I need your help on. I want to set up a contributions account/fund for the citizens of Hancock county to donate money and/or materials for the clean-up of Gard and other cemeteries. The commissioner has put me in charge of this. I called the local bank and they need tax id#'s and such. How is the best way to go about this and has anyone else out there done this so I may learn from you. Should I personally oversee the account or the county or the commissioner? Please help!
