I want to clarify what I sent out earlier. I get upset and agitated easily and don't realize how much "attitude" I put in my writing.
I am not after Crossmann Communities. I know if sounds like it, but I have a distaste in my mouth from a few large corporations that make it hard for me to see them as always honest and upfront. I commend them for the time and money they have spent thus far and hope that they continue the effort.
I don't understand how a phase number change can be considered a minor thing, but I think I need to take that one up with the planning commission, as they are the ones who sent out the plans for phase 2 without noting that it is not the original phase 2.
Also, I know it is not Crossmanns fault that a farmer did what he did one hundred years ago, and he was even a member of the state legislature at one time! But you can't change the past and there's not much since trying to figure out their reasoning. Besides, I have to balance in my heart defending the graves of people, some of whom were my ancestors, who, as a whole did not care one lick about the graves of my other ancestors. It puts things into perspective a little when you realize the Native Americans that were here prior to our pioneers had to walk away from everything, but what history has recorded of their thoughts mostly reflect the grief they had over having to leave the graves of THEIR ancestors to be turned into property of the pioneers.
There are 2 sides to every story, I guess, and it pays to step back and look at the whole picture every now and then. I hope all of you can understand this and don't merely see me as a wishy-washy type. I have regretted too many things said in the past 30 years, I don't want to feel then same 30 years from now.
Again, I appreciate any advice you might have for me concerning any experiences in a similar situation.
Cris
