Well, it can be for several reasons...mainly in the case of our cemetery, we
end up with clay covering the grave and only a few inches of black dirt on
top of that. The root system of the grass cannot continue to go deeper to
obtain moisture into the clay and thus dries out quicker. Also, it could
depend on the type of grass....the surrounding areas are native, undisturbed
grass while the graves have been seeded and are a different variety.
