Kyle,
I think this is a great idea. I think it shows people that these folks
buried in our cemeteries were alive and well just like we are now.
We are going to do a cemetery tour in Henry Co. hopefully this spring or
summer. Bud Bush and I will be working with the historical society and have
reenactors portray individuals in the cemetery. We also want to include this
in our cemetery education program with school children.
I don't know why some feel this is improper. I think it is a celebration of
the people's lives who rest in our cemeteries; and that we have not
forgotten them. Let me know how it goes.
