Smith school was across the road East of Mooresburg church . After the fire someone built a house there. It was abandoned and being used for grain storage in the 50's. What was your mother's given name? My father attended Fairview from about 1924 to about 1935. My brothers and sister and I attended Fairview for eight years in the 40's and 50's. My dad Sherald (Shay) and mother (Verla ) later owned the property where Fairview church was East across the road from Fairview School. One of the Bonnell's owned the property where Smith school was many years ago--Possibly when your mother was in the area .I think it might have been Serrin (Hilt). The Mooresburg church property belonged to Lew J. Perry in the forties and fifties. Spud Drach owned it in the sixties. I think my mother has pictures of a terrible barn fire there in the 60's. I played basketball in that barn on Sundays with the Crist twins in the 50's.
