I have some limited info on the Hathaway's, am not sure if your Ebenezer fits in. I noticed in the 1860 census for Pulaski co, white post twp. that there is Ebenezer and Lydia and also Ellon. I have not found any of them in the 1870. In 1860, the next 2 houses are also Hathaway. Abraham and John. Abraham is in Sutton Cemetery, Cass Twp. the book says" d. 2-18-1878. AGed 42 y, 1m,10d. A farmer and trapper; in chase of a pheasant, he crept thru thick underbrush, his shotgun trailing behind. The trigger caught on a twig and the gun exploded into the side of his head. He was a brother of Carter D. Hathaway, who mapped out and named the town of Medayville. In the same cem. is Eliza J. 7-13-1833 to 7-16-1909 Mother. George is next to her, he died 6-30-1892 aged 29 yr. Also Jacob and Emma (Hathaway) Lizenby and their infant daughter. Mary A. Hathaway (an infant) is buried in a row with no other Hathaways close by.
As of yet, I don't have any pulaski co. history books. Just the cemetery records by the historical society and the death records. Have you asked Linda with the Historical society (she and another do research at the library, am not sure if any cost involved for that or not) how far back the newspapers go?
