We have exchanged messages on the Cass Co IN board and when checking to see what other families you are checking I noticed that you have listed Jacobs. That is one of my brick walls. I have a Miami County Indiana Jacobs line. THey came from Pennsylvania and I believe it was MIfflin County. What do you have on yours? Below is from my rootsweb tree.

The Obituary of Mrs. L. A. Shively
found in the family tree box of Charlotte Rairigh Rohrer, the newspaper it was taken from unknown.
Carrie B. Jacobs, daughter of David G. and Elizabeth Jacobs, was born in Pipe Creek Township May 31, 1872, and departed this life April 12, 1922.
Her girlhood was spent on the farm amid the scenes and blessings of God's great out-of-doors, receiving her education at the district schools.
She was married to Leroy A. Shively, August 2,1899, with whom she lived happily for these twenty two years and more since that time. They lived on the home farm of his father for a period of six years after which they removed to Wabash and there resided for three years. They then came to the Shirk farm just North of Peru where they lived for nearly four years, when they removed to Peru and have resided there since.
Two children, Ralph D. and Doris E., were born to them, and Mrs Shively was all that a mother could be to these splendid children.
She united with the Methodist Episcopal Church at Old Mount Hope in her girlhood. For many years, however, she has been a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church in Peru, and has been active in the work and prized by the membership.
Besides her immediate family she leaves three sister, Mrs. Aaron Klepinger of Peru, Mrs. J.H. Stroop of Mobile, Alabama, and Mrs. Joseph Stoner of Pendleton, Indiana, and one brother, J.W. Jacobs of Kokomo, besides many other relatives more distinctly removed.
